1 degree and 88% humidity out

78* and shirtless in house built 100 yrs ago with open stud walls, single payne swing out windows no insulation or shrink wrap this year!

Gretel made all the difference in the world! now if the wind don't kick up I could brag all nite!!!

the story changes as the mph increases.... ;)

Currently about 5* outside and 73* inside. My house is also old and not insulated very good. I used about 50lbs of coal in 24 hours last night into tonight.

Temp holding at 68 in the house, only using 1 stoker. I'm impressed with the 140, never thought it would hold the set temp..

Its -13, basement at 82, upstairs (ranch) 68. Alaska Channing at 350. Do have convection blower at full speed pulling from a cold air register. :P

Inside = 73*, outside = -14* about an hour ago. Employee says -6 in village.

Was -22 here last night. Didn't even know. The coal level was alot lower in the barrel though. Chewed thru about 100# :)

76* inside...
DSM Basement #4 is at 625*, stack 250* with the MPD closed...

It's 38* here in Vernon, NJ. My house is 77* and the DS is idling around 400*...I'm gonna have to open some window stats soon. :D

Wicked nice out today!!
Had to turn the stove WAY down.
Lots of snow melt.
Shoveled my roof off yesterday. Had four foot drifts on the front.
Roofs are comin' down all over Mass. :o

It is 73 in our house, which is also what the thermostats are set at...the joys of a stoker boiler. Last winter my handfed boiler would drive us out of the house on a day like this.
