With all the "flash mobs" that are occurring I am going to apply for the conceal carry for me and the wife. The worse the economy gets, the more likely you will have to defend yourself.

Yep we think alike Dave. I just had my wife start carrying to work several months back. It's a different world out there - good to be prepared!

Smitty,
It's nice to know there are others out there that think like I do. It's not firing on the police or military that I am getting ready for, it's for protecting my property, I am sure you feel the same.

Not in this state, LOL! Although I do around the neighborhood sometimes, never when I leave though. Just too much B.S. I don't have time to stand around waiting to be interrogated for something that's a Constitutional right. 15 people would be on the phone to the staties outside of my town if I walked into a store .... or they drove by while I was pumping gas.
My thoughts on it are that I'd rather not have anyone know what I've got on my person. If anyone tries anything, then I have the upper hand. If anyone is planning on trying something, I don't become a target due to my exposed sidearm. I'm always well aware of what's happening around me at all times ... but I think having it out there in the open exposes me to attention I don't want, or need .. even if 100% legal.
I may have a gun, knife, or 5.3 million scoville spray .... or all the above - guess which days of the week!
