AA130,thanx for the concern. I've always found that it's already "NO" unless you politely ask! I've had zero free time lately and have to get ahold of the Willis like I said I would. ZRight now I'm set to be away fighting the local ice storm that we're having.....Enjoy !

I you do ask UAE about a TT load, I am curious to hear the answer. Might they do it at a certain time of year ?

If I remember correctly UAE was the supplier for GregL's trailer load of coal. He did have some difficulty getting through to the right person.

I've upped my anticipated annual need to 5-6 tons of pea now that I've decided to run the boiler year round.

I believe you will need more than that for year round. IF you can do 20lbs a day with summer weather that alone will be 3 1/2 ton a year.

You're right, that would place me at 7 to 8 tons annually.

GROUP BUY *NOW* Eastern OHIO/Western PA

PostBy: McGiever On: Thu Apr 14, 2011 1:03 pm

Hey Willi,

The problem isn't if we have the need of a FULL Load...

If it helps w/ logistics of the tri-axel purchase of rice size coal, I know a retailer east of you who will take several tons, perhaps up to as much as half of the load. If it would be less then half the load that's okay too.

Plenty members have shown interest here, and diesel looks to be only going up in cost.

I'm willing to help w/ some leg work here...just need to know who has the money now, wants in on the "group buy" and tons wanted by each interested member.

Let's move on this, please.

I haven't heard what the deal is yet. For the right price, and if the quality is there, I would take 5-6 tons of anthracite pea. UAE and Jeddo seem to get good reviews overall. There are probably other good sources as well.

Sorry guys I had not planned on getting so much response so quickly. I will start making some calls next week to see what kind of prices are out there and then we can start getting a list together of commitments to purchase and see what we can put together.
