Yes this is the place to start. Here in Fairfax County VA our school superintendent never saw an experimental program he didn't like. There is no way every kid in the classroom needs a take home computer and no way to keep track of them if they did. Nor do the majority of teachers need a computer in the classroom. Around here they are apparently used for emailing attendance to the main office and doing Power point presentations. It's obvious from the successful level of education this country had in the 40s and 50s that there are other less expensive ways to handle the classroom. In my opinion we need to return to those roots sooner rather then later.

Then I think it's time parents took back control of thier kids & not count on teachers doing it--I seriously feel that this is the biggest reason teachers get away with thier many ridiculous demands. Parents are too busy being thier kids buddies rather then being thier parents :mad: :( Yes, I include some of my own kids in this--thier kids are out of control little butt heads & they wonder why thier teachers don't fix this :?
