Yes, it is here finally. The poll on what is your favorite breakfast meat. Once again i will provide an abridged meat listing. Any other meats will be taken into consideration.

I like all of em. But what beats sticking a piece of crisp bacon into an egg over easy.

Sorry good friend but Scrapple is too much of a wildcard just as SPAM would have been for a breakfast meat. BTW scrapple is whats f'n leftover that nobody wants...ever, like pig heads or cow heads. If i let Scrapple fly i would have to let bologna go and so with the whole deli. Way to go, you were the first guy to post and first guy to complain about the post.

Taylor Pork Roll, hands down. I "smuggle" as much as I can carry every time I'm in New Jersey visiting my parents. I have to ration myself otherwise I'll fry up the whole log in one shot!

Here in PA. dutch coal country, scrapple is a common thing, should of asked what you like on your scrapple, apple butter, table syrup or regular pancake syrup.

Yup, Taylor Pork Roll is my favorite as well, it can be had at every grocery store around here and even the WaWa convenience stores... Its a staple for the area I live in... Scrapple is another staple around here, I live only 5 miles from Hatfield meat packing...

These 2 items must be added to the list... They are exclusively "breakfast meats"... Bologna is not a breakfast meat as it will never be seen on any country dinner menu in the "sides" or "extras" column...

You guys from Pa. aren't as unique as you think--ADD SCRAPPLE--oh OK, so I was raised near Hatfield---when the hell did eggs become a meat---here I thought they were just a non-entity. toothy

Scrapple is hard to come by here in the empire state. Same thing with Taylor Pork Roll. When you do see it, it comes at a premium. Same with Good's blue label chips.

Folks just ain't that civilized 'round here!

Hahaha, I knew we could count on you Fred to cast your "away ballot" with regard to scrapple!!!

I was thinkin' the same thing!!! Eggs are eggs, they make little baby chickens for christ sake!!! I never saw scrapple or pork roll reproduce into little tiny breakfast meats... If that were the case I would have a male and female pork roll on hand to supply my fridge with unlimited quantity!!!

Every morning for the past 20+ years, I have 4 scrambled eggs. When I was working, I'd follow the eggs with a bowl of cereal. I love bacon, but just don't feel like cooking 2 things - takes too much time.

I like it all except for the corned beef, I really think its horse meat! Cook it and cook it and it still stays red! EEEWWWW!

The army used to serve sausage that was like that and it was made from horse!

All things considered if its butchered right and well prepared whats the difference. God knows whats in some of this chineese food we have been eating for years.

Has anyone else heard about the ongoing problems of HIGH CHOLESTEROL diets down your way??

What we have here several candidates for a 'heart attack on a plate' .............with extended usage.

Ah shucks, ya only go this way once...and life is short as it is....live it, love it, and burn black rocks. 8-) :? :)
