Hi all.
The BB is old enough now to leave the nest. So the Golden Bride was sold yesterday.
We loved that stove but when the Sunnyside came in, the Golden's time was on the countdown mode. In fact the problem with the Golden was not because it couldn't get the place warm but it was the opposite, even with the liner reducing the fire pot to about 9 in. the heat was too much for the small living room. The buyer seems to be the right person for the Golden, we got our asked price and he got a super good and nice Base Burner.
That is the END of a very nice experience, thank to all of you for your posts about the B.B.

Pierre,

Somehow I missed your post and wanted to offer my condolences on the loss of your Bride.

Have you checked on her lately, to make sure she is content in her new nest?

Alas, all is not lost! Soon a new bride will be hatched, and I expect her to be Merry.

I finally located the footrests and wings that were missing from my Merry Bride, so I am bumping it up higher on my project list.

Regards,
Paulie
