Yet another reason why MA sucks - the healthcare law ..

Just finished my taxes. Looks like the state is extorting me of over $1100 in penalties, because the wife & I don't have insurance.

I pay my damn bills. Why do I get lumped in with illegal immigrants that steal healthcare????


Who are they to decide what I can afford??? They can't even keep their own house in order!! How many billions has the MA legislature got us in debt? The only debt I have is my house - looks like I'm doing a better job then they are!

Smitty sorry to hear. I was actually thinking of asking you what the situation with the healthcare laws is in Ma. I watched Glen Beck yesterday and I couldn't sleep last night with all the 'progressive' bs going on. Just read my NRA magazine and with George Soros and Hillary "UN" Clinton trying for an International gun ban, looks like I won't sleep tonight either. If Obama can't get his NWO and "skyrocket energy prices" one way he'll try it another. My truck gas tank is empty, and I knew I should have filled it last week. Gas going up 25 cents a gallon every week, and Obama does nothing, because he wants to mash us all into the ground. The Supreme Court just said the scum Westboro Baptist Church has the right to assault decent citizens.

They're trying to build a huge mosque the next town over, and it's up to the mayor of Bridgewater now to make the decision. Never mind the will of the citizens. Another terrorist enclave being pushed on us.

Heck, I didn`t even realize Ma.s healthcare law was put in by a liberal, guess I`ll have to pay mo attention. At the rate gas is going up looks like we`ll be paying what we were over 3 years ago except there was no real or imagined reason for it then. Guess we gave the rich a couple more years of extra money, their pockets are too full so they invest in oil futures.
After everything is said & done we still live in the best country on earth.

Sam .... one thing you need to understand about MA is that left leaning democrats are ENTRENCHED in the legislature here. How else could a drunken murderer get elected decade after decade for nearly 50 years!

I don't care what political party the governor is from -- the legislature here rules. Always has. They have the final word on EVERYTHING. That's why Romney didn't do much for the ridiculous gun laws in this state. He can only do what someone (on that frigged up mess of a hill) agrees with him on.

Believe me - I'll be the first one to criticize ANYONE of ANY POLITICAL PARTY -- yep, that's right ... you heard it here first -- that passes a socialistic law like the health care law. Even Romney was powerless against the liberal moonbats in our state legislature. He went against his party's principles -- BIGTIME -- and it's gonna bite him in the ass in 2012. You could even argue he was brainwashed from working & living with liberals day in & day out ... but that's still no excuse. If it were up to me, he wouldn't even be nominated.

BTW, what happens if you just don't pay the $1100? Has anyone challenged it? Tell them you need the $1100 for medical expenses.

Smitty, I have a some what similar but yet different feeling towards our elected officials. I have almost no knowledge of the politics in Ma. except what I read here. I would be willing to bet that the bulk of your politicians are all working for the same interests & it isn`t the will of the people. They want the people divided & working against one another, divide & conquer.

That's for certain Sam - this state ignores us. They think MA begins & ends at Rt.495 -- anything west of there they couldn't care less about. They think we still *censored* in outhouses!

All you have to do is take a drive anywhere out here. The roads are ATROCIOUS. Looks like a 3rd world country out here ... yet Boston gets BILLIONS upon BILLIONS for the mismanaged "big dig", that they raised all our taxes to pay for. Now why do I have to pay for this bullshit when I have no plans of EVER setting foot in Boston as long as I'm above ground??? But I digress ...

No, Romney wasn't powerless - you always have a choice. You may not like the predicted outcome either one but you always have a choice. Romney caved. He should have vetoed the plan and forced the Legislature to override the veto. Now he has to live with his decision to allow a bad bill he disagreed with to become law without a fight. Yeah, he would have lost the fight anyway but taking the hard stand would have benefited him in the long run. I think it's going to cost him any chance at the White House. Lisa

Check the census,population INCREASED. The town collects your property tax, not the state, . My rights are safe and sound, my only bitch is paying for free loaders and cheap asses like yourself.
