Anyone heard anything that I haven't? I live near Bangor, the most easterly large airport in the USA. For the last hour military aircraft have been leaving like I have not seen since the Gulf war. Is it just a big practice? I don't know, but man, oh, man, jets are leaving here just about as fast as you can launch them and heading out full speed. They are not doing touch & go...they are headed out over the ocean.

I sure hope not, we don`t get that oil most goes to Europe, let them do some payback for a change. I did hear that some British troops had landed to meet with what is being set up as a new Gov..

I think we ought to stay out of their civil war against their oppressor. Our countrymen shed blood for this country, so shall all countries that want freedom. Makes sense to me anyway.

I fully agree that we need to stay out of foreign affairs and treaty entanglements. As Ron Paul says, most of our foreign problems have arisen from such treaties and entanglements.
Thomas Jefferson summed up the noninterventionist foreign policy position perfectly in his 1801 inaugural address: "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations — entangling alliances with none."
Ron Paul is the Thomas Jefferson of our time.

The big problem is we need oil, PERIOD. You don't think we(government) really care what happens to our foreigh neighbors, as long as it doesn't affect our well being.

The US foreign policy is driven by our need for oil, And that's a fact, Jack!AA130FIREMAN wrote:The big problem is we need oil, PERIOD. You don't think we(government) really care what happens to our foreigh neighbors, as long as it doesn't affect our well being.

And I fear it may soon become much more costly to us if the "New World Order" has it s way and the US Dollar is no longer seen as the fiat paper representation of that reserve currency of the world, but is rather seen as the mere paper that it is.Black_And_Blue wrote:Oil is the Reserve Currency of the World.

2 days in a row, what looked like a C-130 flew in front of my house -- couldn't have been 100' up! That was something! Both days, almost the exact same flight path & elevation within feet. Going from north to south.
What a noise! Gave me goosebumps & a strong sense of pride.

Smitty: I heard General Motors has chartered those flights and are setting you up for a 'fertilizer drop'! The kind of fertilizer 'cows' deposit. 14- 20 ton drops, 5 minutes apart. If you can call their rigs a 'piece of crap', they are going to make damned sure you know what tons of crap smell and feel like!
