Thanks for all of the pictures Nortcan. It is neat that your small stove has all of the efficiency features of a large stove built into it. All you have to do is make sure all of the mica windows are nice and tight and you will have a super efficient stove.

most of them come from Bryant store. When I advised them I was buying the stove they told me that the stove would be rebuilt so I asked if they could take some photos of the work. At my surprise they did and got a lot on the process. During that time I wanted to keep everybody occupied so I sent the topic about the New BB.

As you know Will. I was supposed to buy the Glenwood 116. But the price asked for it was too high and my offer for it got no return. So I decided to buy the Golden Bride and it's fine for the small place I have for it.
You'r right for the micas and I will have to inspect some having not a thight seal. That should not be a big problem. Anyway I dont have to make modifications on this one to get these features.
I must admit that if I changed my mind about antique stoves it's mostly because I took the time to view and re-re-view all your videos. In the past I was ignoring all what these stove could have inside of them. Some others also helped for the mind changements and I want to thank you.

I think the next one will come from the installation. Must install a chimney so have to wait for the warmer temps. A few remolds inside to make the bed for that new BB.

Thanks buck24. Before I bought the stove I did show photos of it to my wife and she was almost scared of it. After a lot of discussions and having no good results with the negociations for the Glenwood 116, I convince here to let me go for it. When I came back home with the stove and got it inside she found it very nice. Ouf.
I was thinking to have the plate having the name on it nickled but don't know. It reminds me some nice Harley all dressed up in black, look sharp like you said.

I would name it Black Maria. When you decide to get the stove re nickeled. I would start with the finial first. Any way I can't wait to see and hear how this stove operates.

Well, the competition is getting hard for this BB's name.
Someone having a plating co. here told me a few weeks ago that it woul cost around $350. + for the finial re nickelling. But at that time he didn' saw the part.

Will, have you ever burnt a stove having the same fire pot desing? I mean a fire pot having these sort of fingers at the bottom of it?
Is it an obligation to have these fingers?
What I imagined is when shaking the grates and rotating the round grate, lot of ash dust would get the micas very dirty???

Also do you think that it could be possible to make a lining in the fire pot to protect it? I had so many bad experiences with my previous Vermont C. having fire directly in contat with the cast iron surfaces so I don't want to see that again in this stove.
