Considering a used Econ 1

Considering a used Econ 1

PostBy: Kungur On: Tue Mar 08, 2011 8:59 am

I am looking at a gently used Econo 1 stove and have a few questions.
The controls have been removed as the owner is using them on another unit. Is a Coaltrol what I need?
Are parts and a manual still available?
Thanks,
Tom

I do heat with coal in my house wit a KA-2, this would be for my shop.

It depends on how old the stove is . It can be set up either way with or without the coaltrol . Give us a call at the shop 570-752-1811 Thanks ,Dave

If it's for a shop you might not need a coaltrol. Especially if you are going to be right there with it most of the time. The coaltrol is a sweet unit, but you might be OK wihtout it in a shop.
