Maybe I could use that boiler to heat the 3 homes on my compound! :punk:

Nice job Rob,

Don't let Arnie near your prized possession or else you'll get a VW sticker on it, like I did on mine. :o :o

Nice set-up and great looking boiler! Where did you find the stainless steel flue pipes? Are they single or double walled?

Do you know what kind of stainless it is and what the wall thickness is? I wish I lived in NY so I could get some single wall stainless flue pipes.

not too sure on grade and thickness. im guessing the grade is decent because a magnet does not stick to it(claimed would last with coal). I would offer to run down and put an order in for ya but im sure hes waay behind. I ordered mine in june when I purchased my boiler, didnt see it untill sept. all pieces wrere in 4' lengths except for the piece that went thru the wall, he rivited that all together, along with the thru the wall T assembly that was all rivited together when I picked it up.

hey larry how do you like your s130, it was a coin toss for me, between a s130, and my ka6. wanted the slightly larger boiler. and the s130 wasnt available around here I would have had to go pick it up from the ahs wharehouse.

I like it a lot! Operation is extremely simple. I'm confident that the Ka6 is a great boiler also. All of the available stoker boiler brands that I'm aware of are built to last a lifetime (or two, three, ...).

Im happy with the ka6 but while I was still in the planning stages I talked to a local installer that claimed ever keystoker boiler he installed the homeowner complained. a neighbor of mine put my mind at ease that is heating a 5000 ft shop radiant floor and a simiair house in age and size with a ka6. in the end went with local availability.

Just my opinion, but I bet 9/10 of those complainants were due to owner incompetence.

i think so too. also, a couple years ago, a good friend of the family converted his cabin and barn to coal, something happened, claims frozen coal jammed up the auger, starved the boiler and everything froze by the time he got there the following weekend. needless to say my family thought I was nuts switching to coal, I got the furry eyeball from everyone. but now I couldnt be happier. cant wait for the cold weather!
