Harman SF 150 BTU Rating Question

I saw a Harman SF 150 Dual Fuel today in beautiful shape. What I couldnt find on the stove or in the paperwork was the BTU rating. Does anyone know how much heat this unit puts out? Also other than Greg does anyone have any experience with this stove. I see he is heating about 1k sq feet with no problem. The guy selling it has had it in his home for 17 years without using it. It has a blower, SS Coil and a attachment that gathers the heat from the pipe and vents it into the duct. Asking price is 700- Whatcha think? I like it cause I could use wood or coal but it has to be at least 85K or better BTU.

I've seen, operated and enjoyed GregWhite's Harman SF150, I'd say it's BTU output is 10-15% less than a SF250, The fan forced heat exchanger really kicks out the heat.

Greg is heating a mostly uninsulated 2+ car garage with his SF150, and he very rarely has it really burning very hard, mostly just above an idle setting. Except when the temps are real cold and the wind is howling.

I think $700 for that stove is a VERY good deal, especially with the additional items

Hey Jeff, look at the SF250 instalation and information posted by formum member Cap.

He is very happy with his SF250, and has even reduced the firebox size to reduce the heat output for the fall and spring.

I don't think you will be unhappy with a SF 150. It is if I remember correctly, only 4" narrower than the SF 250. And the SF350 was yet another 4" wider. The 4" dimension being the width of a firebrick in the firebox.

Are you going to buy the SF150??

Yes I am. I looked at a Hitzer E-Z Flow and the Harman is in better shape.
I called several dealers and they couldnt tell me the BTU but I finally spoke with Harman directly and they said its rated between 90k and 100k. The fact that in an emergency or when the weather it is like it is now I can burn wood is a nice plus.
