Maybe I'll have to post a nice 30MB video clip of the stove burning....... :propellerhead:

About as exciting as watching corn grow, but who knows, I'm sure it might shake someone's grate on this group?

Ummm, I'm not gonna touch that one with a 10 foot pole, Matthaus!

But, nevertheless, it was pushing 90 here the past several days. Today it finally "cooled off" into the 70's. Not really heating weather yet!

Leaving aside the last couple of posts, threads like this are what makes this forum so valuable. Thanks for the blow-by-blow of your project.

Thanks, Neil. It's been real fun, so far.

I'm hoping this weekend is cold enough to let me test fire it without running me out of the house due to heat or stench from curing paint. Looks a little marginal right now, but we'll make it happen.

Need to run out and get a thermostat, dryer vent, and some fire starters (and make sure I have a few fully charged fire extinguishers handy, :) ).

I think Thurs is the day to get the Keystoker idling up...supposed to get into the 30's at night and not reach 60 thru next week....it should be enough to just take off the chill....and not use any gas.!! :)
