8.5 hours one way for me. The budget won't allow that at $4/gallon. Sounds like I'll be missing a great time. :(

Hey Smitty! Why don't you find some unfortunate soul to bring along for the 8.5 hr. ride. We call it carpooling, hitchn' a ride, sharing.

Hmmm .... now you got me thinkin' ... 8-)

That would be one hell of a long day on that little bike though. I'm sure I could do it, but I wouldn't be of much use once I got there. And you just CANNOT ride that bike at anything less than full bore!

All my buddies are in either in the same boat I'm in, or they have kids & soccer games. I can't catch a break!

I'd love to get down there & pound beers with all you fine gentlemen, but gotta keep the wrenches turning here so the mortgage gets paid. This year is going to be a tough one financially. Everything under the sun is going up. Just got a letter from insurance company -- they want another $150 to cover state mandated oil cleanup insurance! Grrrr!

I'll keep trying the lotto ....... then, by the next meet n greet I'll be living nearby! Gotta get out of this hellhole ....

Yea, I'm about 90% sure I'm coming too. I'd probably come Friday and stay at the same place in Pottsville I stayed last time, if I could remember where that was. What was the name of the place where we all met in the morning last time John? Ramada? Holiday inn? I think I may have killed those brain cells.

It's the Ramada. If I come I will also come up Friday. I'll drive the truck with trailer and also buy coal.

Here's the hotel link:

For those wanting to see Yuengling Brewery the production bottling line does not operate on weekends. You might want to come up early on Friday.
