Coal burning has begun for 2007

I had to let the Keystoker go out last night. The house was at 72 and kept climbing, even with the stove just idling. It got up into the upper 50s yesterday. Of course, the wife baking most of the afternoon helped the stove along nicely...

Even with no stove running and the furnace turned off, the house only dropped to 65 this morning and it was about 34 degrees when I got up. Not going to need to burn much until it gets a little colder.

I guess that's one of the benefits of a newer, well insulated house. No such luck here, this old barn gets chilly fast when the temp. goes below 30!

Well I finally got to fire up the stove at 11:55 am this morning got down to 33f last night and woke up to a 51f house

So i had to start it up Now this
Realman / Manly mans house is at 72f and climing So now this MANLY MAN is much Happier

The stove will stay lit until spring keep warm everyone :twisted:

I fired mine up last thursday! It's running great! I've had to make some minor adjustments to keep the house cooler at night (70 is too warm!) but otherwise all is well. Thanks to everyone for helping me with all my start up issues :oops:
