Looking for Brushes

Looking for Brushes

PostBy: Dann757 On: Mon Apr 18, 2011 5:07 pm

I'm looking for a source to buy brushes for this old B & D polisher. It says Black and Decker Automotive Heavy Duty Polisher Catalog # 6124 Type 2 2300 rpm. The old brushes are at the end of their rope. Hope somebody has a source thanks.

EDIT: Never mind, I found a place with a great cross-reference chart: http://www.lakeeriecarbon.com/LECStore/ ... tStore.htm

That web site doesn't seem to work, appears one of those sites that just owns the name. I have some brushes here but are way to big for that. Some place i used to work had one of those " throw all this stuff out, people are coming in for a tour", so it ended up in my car instead of the dumpster, a nice size box of various brushes from multi hp motors.

Any good motor repair shop should have them or order them for you. We had a great shop till the owner died, his kids closed up and junked everthing.

My local true value hardware carries an assortment of brushes. They handle dewalt , I believe they own black & decker, or vice versa.
