Mix In Some Nut With My S130??

Now you guys have me contemplating nut! Sounds like nut can/will burn in an S130 too???? I'd appreciate any feedback on this endeavour...

Landscapers Depot in Kingston, NH has bulk rice and nut (but no pea...) for $285/ton. I'd sure like to become their best customer---since they're less than 5 miles from my house.

I already asked them if they'd stock pea---they weren't interested...

I would stay away from nut size...there is a risk of it bridging and causing an outfire, and the remote possibility of a hopper fire.

If a better price per ton is your game, time to order up a load of buck or pea size anthracite. If your Keystoker can burn buck, it is the logical choice for both machines.

I have been running range coal through my AA 260M with zero problems for a few months now. It is about 20% nut and the rest is pea. I have had zero problems but would avoid straight nut as it could bridge at the elbow. The AHS hopper may make it a moot point. I would give the nut a try and keep the hopper level very low until you prove it's functioning properly.
