Hopper fed stoves are an 'upgraded' handfed stove.. The hopper gravity feeds the coal bed..

Both DS Machine and Hitzer make a good hopper fed stove.. Alaska makes one too.

Do a google search for the above stove companies.. Hitzer has pretty good drawings of the hopper-feed design.
