I`m glad I bought a new Rigid pump last fall, I had two pedistal pumps that would overheat so I went with the submersable & I`m glad I did. Only problem I`ve had is that I haven`t reinstalled my battery backup & I had a power outage & got an inch or two of water before I got the generator gassed up & running. Always something.

Hmmm .. that's 26K miles less than my '94 Chevy K1500 had on it when I sold it!

A grass cutting day today, they are calling for evening rain & then 3 to 4 more days of scattered rain. I`ll do it today, better cutting grass than a hayfield again, I got enough alfalfa towards the field sides that if I don`t keep it cut it just gets worse too fast. What the heck happened to regular weather, we have over the yearly rainfall amount already then add to that they are keeping the lake as high as they can to hold as much water as possible from the south.
