I think it's .wab extension, do a file search for *.wab
Can I search while using Knoppix? Search using Windows isn't finding the files.

I had all my ID's and Passwords for online accounts on an old Palm PDA program, couldn't get them. I finally figured out to try opening the files using Notepad  and I printed them. Otherwise I would have had to contact each account and reset the ID and Password. I have a new filing system for this information, a 3" X 5" file card and a pen! What a fun adventure.

I'm not familiar with the knoppix search but it should work, * is standard on linux as wildcard.

You need a password locker and keep copies in different places, for example you could send a PM to yourself here with attachment. ;) The file is encrypted so there is no security concerns plus you have the added security of someone needing to be logged in as you to even get to the file. One password gives you access to all passwords and it certainly makes using them much easier because it's a simple copy function to paste into a text box.

Good ideas, thanks.
One item that's now driving me nuts (I have a list of them) is that I'm only using one PC now, both of them periodically had their little fits, I would just flip to the other one. Now I sit here like a mo mo watching the hard drive indicator flicker. I think maybe it's time to buy a new computer, this one is circa 2004. I just have no patience.

Yep, Its time. If you get something with a windows operating system, get the 64-bit version of Windows-7.

WOW  You're sitting in a blazing saddle compared to my desktop. 2001 running XP that I "upgraded" to 1G ram + the 526 it originally had and added a ATI AIW that had another 256 :) That was 6 years ago and now, just like your's, mine is dying and killing me with it's problems.

I prefer the BFA. 8-)

True story... my friend had very expensive CD player that was one of the first on the market, I forget the brand but it was really high end brand. Sounded absolutely fantastic when the car was sitting still. Every bump and the damn thing skipped. He ripped it out of the car the one day and put it on stump where it met Mr. Axe.
