Thank you to all those who have welcomed me aboard!!!
I will spend some time playing 'catch-up' with the new duties, and welcome anyone, especially NH and New England members with questions.
One special request: No more beating the 'wet coal' topic to death!!!
No Fred, I have very little spare time, and sleep in an underrated activity!! I enjoy being horizontal, sawing em' off!!
Great week....98 degrees to 38 this AM. Tornado's, huge hail, Yogi was visiting again, baby loons arrived...and the sun is out!!!
I have been wanting to see a History Section where a Historic Link page can list and explain old Hand Feds, Boilers, or Furnaces and some coal history. I have always said and continue to say that re-education is the best way to promote the resurgence of coal in our little corner of the world.
If people can see it burning, know the safety and reliability of coal and the appliances that burn it, it is a no-brainer to get them to try.
