For the studio album it cannot be live, we'll make exceptions where they might have 1 or 2 live songs on it but the majority must be recorded in a studio. No "best of's" either. One nomination per member.
I'm going to go out on a limb and nominate "Appetite for Destruction" by Guns N' Roses. The only reason it's a limb is because they imploded. IMO this band had the potential to be one of the greatest acts ever. This is one of those albums where you really don't mind listening to whole thing, every song is a great tune.
Appetite for Destruction is the debut studio album by American rock band Guns N' Roses, released in July 1987 on Geffen Records. It was well-received by critics and topped the American Billboard 200 chart. As of September 2008, the album has been certified 18 times platinum by the RIAA, accumulating worldwide sales in excess of 28 million as of October 2008. The album is the best-selling debut album of all-time in the United States, beating Boston's debut album Boston, which has gone 17x platinum.
