Seems that some law enforcement officials have a problem with this law :nono:

I was living in Miami when they first passed their law that just about everyone could conceal carry & the crime rate dropped real fast even for Miami. Seems all the big brave armed thugs aren`t so big or brave if they think that the formally innocent victims might just have a weapon.

That's typical. We're all too dumb to think for ourselves. We need laws to point us in the right direction, remember? I'm gonna shoot some guy over a parking spot because a law was enacted!

Guess they can't fathom gun owners exercising something called "reasoning". He must be a liberal. That's the type of article I'm used to seeing in the local MA paper .... and why MA gun laws are hopeless, & nothing will ever change ...

Smitty,
Trust me................it can be changed if we (you) are persistent. I spent a lot of time on this and it paid off. I didn't just do it for me but, for all law abiding citizens that live in this Commonwealth. I made many, many phone calls and sent many, many e-mails. I think it was time well spent by me as well as all the others that spent their personal time to get this law enacted. It was an uphill battle and took quite a few years to get this law passed.
Read my "signature"................it ain't about hunting................. and it ain't BS :no2:

Yeah but people in your state are more normal. Right off the bat you have more of a chance than MA does.

Just about the entire metro-Boston area is full of left-wing moonbat liberal whackjobs that outnumber normal people in the state by 10 to 1 ... and every piece of legislation is to appease them - and ONLY them. Also a large portion of the western part of the state votes that way as well, so it's a lose-lose. We're surrounded by moonbats!

I won't stop trying, but it's been a long, hard, uphill battle .... :stretcher:

Excellent signature, btw.

Good idea! I read about World War One soldiers during trench warfare. Since they had to dig, they had short shovels they could carry with them. Apparently when it came to close-quarters combat, you were better off with a sharp shovel than with almost any other weapon. One hand on the end of the handle, one just below the business end, and you could do a lot of damage in a hurry.

Well with that little bit of info, MA will now be requiring a LTC ( License To Carry [firearms] ) class A to purchase shovels now. :o

I wonder which part of the shovel will now be considered "Ammunition"?
