Called Kimmel's coal up 6 weeks ago. Tim quoted me a price and said he would call back with shipping price, never heard from him again. Called and talked to secretary asking what is the problem. Getting a run around. Are they having problems. I dealt with them in the past with no trouble. Maybe I'll go elsewhere if I don't here from them this week. Has anybody else having this problem

Yep, There's something going on out there. I e-mailed 3 times, called 4 times. Never did hear from Tim. I picked up a trailer load and the price was the same as back in March. I did get a phone call from the shipping dept. that I could pickup the load anytime. No discount for summer, I lost a 21 ton order of pea because I could'nt get a price when I needed it. Jeddo is not taking on anymore bagged coal dealers, they can't keep up with the ones they have. There's a big demand for export coal, ya think that might have something to do with it? I need to get 2 more trailer loads before it'a all gone.

They are probably trying to find someone looking for a backhaul. Call them back and ask for an update...if none is provided, well then I guess it is fair to start calling other suppliers.

I will call them again before the week is over if I don't here from them. I have a trucker that will backhall for me. If I do not get a good response I will buy else where. It's hard to beleive they would quote you a price and not follow up on the order and toally ignore your calls especially when your a repeat costomer.

After my experience burning Kimmel's, I wouldn't fret over that. ;)
