In Williamsport PA. the axeman anderson's are built. Their is a dealer, Fire and Water near williamsport that sells stoves and was talking about trying to get a dealership for the axemans. He sold me mine used and has one running in his own house that he let me see first hand.

We are currently in work on the 220 non dual fuel stoker. UL testing 8/29. Come by the shop any time.

Also as has been suggested the Axeman Anderson Anthratubes are as fine a boiler as you will find any where!

I don't have one here yet. But you are welcome to come down to the plant in Berwick to see one. Its only 70 miles each way and a nice drive. This weekend we won't be there but someone is there most weekends. Dave

Hey fireman,

I love mechanical things and have looked the at youtube AA130 videos many times, I am envious. The Marks Supply videos of EFMs running are another favorite and I would love to buy the motor rotor just to watch it run but I did not buy and here is why.

That AA 130 needs what say 50# of coal to get it running and you can't really underfire the beast too much. So Sept to Nov and March until May you just don't have the controllability you need. Sure you can control individual zones but even if they are all off the beast is still running not like a coaltrol running a carpet system. I know people use say oil or a wood fire until it really gets cold but that story is getting old as oil escalates and wood is a damned nuisance. So to me (if I wanted to go hydronic which I don't) I would like would be a great boiler (AA) controlled by a carpet/coaltrol/powervent system. IMHO of course. Looks to me like LL is putting together that system and I wish them the best of luck. At last we have permission to build another section of the farm (NY is the worst and our town must be a worst in state contender). I will need a ton of hot water. Don't be surprised if yours truly runs over to Berwick as I attempt to wrestle this beast away from Matts clammy hands. It's sure ugly, does not whirl around and so is not as much run to look at but it has the potential to be best in class. Well tested subsystems and I think I could be suckered into this one. Oh oh, I can here the incoming shells now - I am going into my foxhole for a while.

Hey Mr. Foxhole - Is your hot water demand scattered throughout the day or all in hour or two? Might be time for a serious hot water production thread...I have been making some changes in my place to support the Mrs. new tub.
