How much does nut coal weigh per cubic foot?

I am looking to make the trip south to get some coal for the heating season. I have a 6x12 tandem axle trailer with rear gate. It is about 1 foot high making it about 72 cubic feet of capacity. I would imagine that this trailer should be able to haul 2 tons. How much roughly would the load weigh if I filled it to the top? I am only planning on hauling 2 tons.

About 1 3/4 tons
