Also I think William is correct about the heated gas ring, the two inlets allows you to choose from allowing heated air to burn off volitile gas' which does not "cut" your primary air thus not slowing your stove down and one that cuts the primary air which would slow your stove.
I too would like to hear when she is done how this feature works.

I have a question about the finial, did the entire thing get coated ? The top with the name and the side pieces look like a different finish, maybe its just the picture or glare or ?
