Roku gets about 300-400 different channels, many are free, any other box you only get a handfull of channels and they are mostly pay channels. 553 channels on this list.

Roku on the wired ethernet is fine...
Never do a wireless only version...
Roku is the way to go for netflix, ect...
Trade the wireless only model for the top end unit that has ethernet...
Even ypu smitty will like the wired version...
You do have cable internet?...

It was the Roku 2 - no way to run it without a wireless router. Thing cost me enough as it is - I ain't upgrading.

My brother wants it so at least I'll get my money back. System was not for me. Why people can't design something in 2012 that you can just plug in and make it WORK the first time is beyond me ....

Not worth the hassle. I'm done with it. :x

If anyone wants the router the info will be posted in the classified section in a bit here ....

I love mine.

I am too cheap to pay for TV. For a year or so now I got by with an antenna that I literally beat the crap out of...using a piece of copper tubbing, beating it on a concrete surface and shaping it just right to get 9 channels. Not bad in rural Maine but I wanted more.

Ruku gets me many safe channels for the kids for free. You really cannot beat that!
