"Kids for Cash" Judge Ciavarella gets 28 Years, In Custody

I don't know if the term Justice has been served is accurate considering what he's done but unless he's able to successfully appeal it's basically a life sentence. He's 61 and early parole on federal sentences is minimal. He'll be approaching 90 when his time is up if he lives that long.

A defiant Mark A. Ciavarella Jr. was sentenced to 28 years in prison and ordered to pay $965,000 in restitution this morning after reading a statement to the court in which he denied trading "kids for cash."

"Those three words made me the personification of evil. They made me the devil. They made me the anti-Christ. They made me toxic," Ciavarella told U.S. District Judge Edwin M. Kosik.

Ciavarella, 61, was taken into federal custody following the sentencing.

28 years is not enough for what this man put thousands of famlies through. Shame on the Luzerne County Commisioners. :mad:

They should lock that piece of *censored* in a room with all the fathers of the kids whose lives he ruined, so they can all beat the bag out of him ..... and do this for 90 days every day .. then send him to prison for life. :mad:
