We have the iPad 4 with a keyboard case. The keyboard is nice, it has backlit keys. My wife and kids use Google Docs for online documents and spreadsheets. The documents can be accessed from anywhere since it's virtual.

I love Apple, not sure of the future for them however. My wife will be upgrading her phone (iPhone 4) to the new iPhone 5S/6 when it comes out in June.

I love all my Mac products! Would NEVER go back. My oldest Mac is close to 9 years-runs like a top. The most I could get from a PC is 2 years and NO ONE was able to fix them after that!

Apple is the most valuable company on the planet, worth over 500 billion, more that Microsoft, they sell 25 million iphones a month, at $650.00 each, I think they will be Ok..

Yeah I got lucky with this PC - will be 6 years old in June. Had a meltdown a few months back that Carbonite saved my ass from - would've lost everything without it. The PC before this one I had paid 3x as much for, and only got 5 years out of it before a nasty rootkit shut the thing down permanently. :x

This thing is still quirky, slow at times - gets infuriating. I might just take this thing out back for target practice and buy a new Mac at some point soon ... :rambo2: ;)

Still should have been able to be recovered, on this one back everthing up and run the free version of http://www.malwarebytes.org/ if it finds hundreds of nasties then thats a problem. Malwarebytes will remove them but use caution by backing up

My group at work supports thousands of Windows systems. If you pay attention, problems are really a non issue. Backups are so important. Enough said.

Doby, I've been using Malwarebytes for years. Also Avast, and Spybot. Does work great, but doesn't fix the constant hangs, flash crashes, and other general quirkiness of these machines.

Every single one I've owned has been nothing but trouble. :x Since the reboot, the quirks have gotten much worse ...

FYI this PC came with a mirror drive - I was able to recover this thing to factory original using that, but then had to delete all the crap that was loaded up on it.

Lightening- never censored they got me through Paypal, Aol and who ever knows what else? If I am sent a virus or anything, my Mac will not open it. You must be good with anti-virus software or something! Good for you though to get that much time out of your PC. :)

You don't know the right people.

The oldest PC that I have is a Dell laptop that is at least 15 years old, runs Antix Linux ( http://antix.mepis.org/index.php?title=Main_Page ), and it runs ... well, like a 15-year-old laptop. But it runs. I can stream fullscreen video over a wireless LAN without a hitch. Specs are:
700MHz CPU
6 Gig Hard Drive
128 Megs of RAM
The cell phone that I had three generations ago had more oomph than that.

My desktop PC is a bit more powerful and runs Linux Mint ( http://linuxmint.com/ ). In 2.5 years it has never crashed. Not once. No BSOD, no lockups, no viruses, no (major) problems.

Apple products are for suckers IMO ... tossing good money out the window....

Sure a PC isn't perfect but either is an Apple product.

I have PCs from 15 years ago running fine. Beats me what people do with their PCs to make them garbage after 2 yrs.

I still have 2 desktop PCs ( 1 running windows 3.11 and the other PC running DOS). Perhaps people don't like the OS of windows changing every so often ...

You're PC running slow? Reformat and get rid of the junk you put on it is my recommendation.

And yes, my PC runs slower today than the first day I opened it up because I put programs in that I knew would do just that but wanted the programs anyway.

The dirty little Mac secret is they use the same hardware found in PC's, you're paying a premium for the OS and the name. Last PC I custom built for about $1300. Comparable Mac was about $2500 and it wasn't really a fair comparison because the Mac didn't have SATA3 and USB3. Wasn't available on Mac's at the time.

Friend of mine has had Apple stock since it was first offered. He was crying the blues years back because Apple stock was dropping,... that is until they bought into the rights to use Microsoft's DOS basic operating system, as Richard said, so they could then use many of the same programs. So, if you know it or not, your Mac became a PC.
