Heat wave here in the capital district, it was 54 deg this morning. Must be all that hot air drifting down from Albany.... :P

I used to bring coal up from Fireside Warmth just outside Kingston in the early 80's, to Albany. They used to bag it there, at the time it was nice stuff. They have a web site but I think the time has shifted their concentration to other products. I believe I used to speak with Joe.

I hope this helps if not go West to the the Cobleskill area I think you will find some folks there.

TAS and the local Agway sell coal in Cobelskill. There is another place that does coal also but they do it on a part time basis so I wouldn't put any faith in them when the stuff hits the fan.

I don't know about outstanding, Fred, it's only 1/2 acre...but I also just discovered it's "City Gas" (natural gas). I thought it was oil!
Just signed contract today...now I gotta' sell in NJ (got a couple on the line)
Yea, I'd love to have a little property but this is a Hudson River Valley Town and it has "just" enough elbow room. [Maybe I'll have some "room" in my next life] I am forever envious of the guys that have enough [property to do some target practice, off their back deck...]

Newbie,
I'll be a son of gun if that house isn't expensive (but, save the pool) I'll bet the house I'm looking to move into has all of it's charm (1924)
and is a pretty cozy little shack...Albeit a bit smaller too.

RMA, sounds good--cozy is great. Sometimes I think about how relaxing a half acre with a historic house would be. Sometimes this 24/7/365 upkeep schedule gets old--hell, I'd ship my horses off to coalnewbie & let him get crazier then he already is-- just the maintenance'll do that to you ;) NAHHHHH  toothy PIX dude--you know we love pix
