The NWS just predicted we're in for a direct hit from Irene, I guess tomorrow is get prepared day. I was on Narragansett Bay today and you can see of signs boaters starting to scramble. Looks like Sunday and Monday are not gonna be fun!

Today was my day to get prepared for Irene's visit; I was at the store early for milk and few things for my 72 hour kits. Once that was done I was assured that she would stay away. It's been windy all day here but little more. The TV is saying it will pass about 200 miles to the east of us, well out to sea. We will be lucky to get any rain out of it - we could use that. Sorry but that puts it right on path for New England. Good luck, Lisa
