Does anyone know what year the Anthracite Institute was dissolved?

I don't know when it ended, but I sort of remember it merged with some other organization.

Assuming the Institute was incorporated ... You could guess what state it was incorporated and then look for any Anthracite Institute records in the Incorporation Charters granted by that state. My first guess would be PA and then DE for an incorporation state. If the records are like my state, MD, it would also show when it changed it's name and merged with another corporation.
