WOW! I haven't watched the news .. but I had a feeling this was bad since a local river topped the bridge crossing for the first time in over 50 years here. I shot some video & took pics around the neighborhood. There's a normally tiny stream (maybe 6' wide & a foot deep on a bad day) right up the road that was a raging river over 50' wide & God knows how deep. We're not in a flood-prone area ... so if it's this bad out here, then I can only imagine how bad it is near the ocean or major rivers -- after all, this raging river will eventually end up in other bigger rivers. By the time I shot the vid, the water had already receded several feet.
