Ok, heres the final details...

Saturday, November 12th , 1 pm

Wood N'Tap Rocky Hill, CT Exit 91 Exit 24

The restaurant will be doing individual checks for all attending.

Will need to provide an approximate count of coalies a couple days before the party,

Easy, round up these coalies, bud.

I hope someone can talk franco b into attending. I've read his posts for almost a year now and he seems like a nice guy with a wealth of knowledge.

Does the board or anyone else have a list of members by state?

The guy that has a likely coveted access to that is CoaledSweat, he's one of those :P special :P moderators that has access to our great one way up above. Earth, You may want to PM him.

BTW, we can always do a group check, its what we collectively decide as we walkin , though I wanted to make people aware of the option.

I think they can handle up to 35-40 in the back room.

BTW, the woman manager at the restaurant was intrigued by what we do, I told here were in large part decrepit old men who communicate by internet about keeping their homes warm in the winter.

We need a festive game other than a chugging contest.

I'm thinking sling shots and rice coal, we don't want to hurt anyone.

We should call ourselves something? :?:

How about the "Organization of People Burning Anthracite Coal" (OPBAC)...better than OPEC!

Or better yet, the "Nutmeg Coal Burners" (Nutcobs)...

I like (OPBAC) thats much better than the one I came up with.

Something to discuss at the fall fest or even here if we can get enough input.
