This is becoming way to commercial for this old farmer. I did my Flag & Prayer this AM--it's a personal thing & I sympathize with all those families that lost loved ones having this crammed down thier throats for days by an insensitive, money oriented media.
Thanx for listening, I feel better.
I'm with you Fred, though I'm not old nor am I a farmer. I whole-heartedly (sp?) agree. I feel it's been crammed down our throats every year since it happened. I've been trying to figure out how it was done after December 7th, 1941. Was it crammed down the country's throat every year after Pearl Harbor was attacked?
I'm not saying we should forget. But I just don't think we need to be reminded every year and have so much media coverage over it. You are reminded of it by almost every TV program and radio show. I gave my moment of silence on Sunday for all those lost but I don't need to be told about it and listen to people recount where they were for days on end.
