Help Finding bags of House coal for open fire

Hi, I am new to the site but trying to find regular house coal that can be burnt on an open fire with wood. I am originally from the UK and this type of coal is readily available. I think it may be what you call bituminous coal. I live in Arkansas where it does not seem there is any coal available. I do soon have to drive to New York, maybe there is somewhere on the way that could pick up a few bags? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check you area using SearchTempest to simultaneously search multiple craigslist areas. Set the search area out as wide or as narrow as you like. Got the hint from another member

Cannel coal is good for open fires, but you don't need it to be cannel to have a great open fire. Any good "free-burning" (doesn't melt together) bituminous lump coal will work well.
If you're driving to NY stop by thompson bros in youngstown OH, he has good KY lump coal which burns great in open fireplaces, it's a very "free-burning" coal. It is widely used for that purpose.
