YES -- it will be VERY noisy when MT and it will not be quiet when full

but you will not want it too full

Fit a sleeve on the bottom to cover the pick up screw area - attach a rod so you can cover or expose the pick up screw area for if you leave that much exposed -- it will pick up too much material and jam - you want to be able to allow it to pick up just enough -- not too much

Thanks for the input would a pieces of plastic pipe work?
I can run a rod from outside the dog house to control the feed.
Thanks again for the inputs, I would have never guessed it would over feed the screw.

to stop the torque when motor turns screw I used 1/2 all thread and some fancy pipe clamps

all thread goes through 2 by 4 double nuts I will start building a motor starter tomorrow I think that I can build a forward and reverse out of two three way switches
