Why is it that i have to reset my router every 2 or 3 days for the laptop to work? works good for the base computer.

I ran in to a similar problem a few weeks ago. Upgrading the router firmware fixed my issues.

Change the channel your router is on. Sometimes your neighbor gets a new one and causes all types of interference. Did you get a new microwave by any chance?
