Since diesel is $4.80 to $5 gallon. I doubt I'll be there Friday. I will stop Saturday after work though.

I apologize in advance if I am being redundant. But what time do we met at the mine tour parking lot or entrance on Sat morning? I'll be driving directly there from home. Probably not camping Friday night,

Many thanks,

Tick, tock... :D Just a reminder, if you're going to the coal mine tour be there before 9:30. If you're going to the river tomorrow I should be there by noonish, my Uncle is going up tonight so if I'm not there he will be. Hope to see you there but I know its quite a distance for many people. Luckily it looks like the weather is going to be wonderful with an occasional T-Storm on Saturday.

Stupid question time.

Are there picnic tables or do we need to bring along a folding chair with the cup holder? My bike gets crowded.

If you have a folding chair and room bring it but there is picnic tables and chairs avaialable.

Note the big giant logs for chairs :D :

That's an older picture about 10 years ago, the pavilion is to the right under construction. Those particular logs got washed away in a flood but there's others that replaced them. The pavilion of course has a roof , there's a macadam floor, stove, grills, etc. There's even a small woodstove but apparently that won't be needed. This really isn't camping in my book, I'm used to strapping on a backpack and heading out in the woods. The one bathroom facility is completely new and is probably nicer than a few peoples bathroom's.

It's a really nice setup. We've been doin family get together's here for decades and even without the addition of all the new stuff it was great place to go.

The new batroom sits on top of this platform, there's an additional bathroom in the shed behind it. River is in the background.

I might be. I got an e-mail from Richard saying I was now a moderator! So behave because I haven't a clue as to what to do, if you get rowdy. :-)
