Well, the Hyfire I Stove I bought from Greg (lsFarm) back last winter to help heat this big old Victorian is finally installed, I still had the Keystoker running....luckily I had a thimble in the chimney that wasn't being used, hooked up the pipe, manometer, Coal Trol, sealed all the joints, baro, etc....took 1/2 the day. I had the CoalTrol running to test all the functions (without burning or coal in the stove) and everything seemed to be working correctly. The stokers, the blowers, etc...went thru the test setup and put in all the times/temps.

I just have to hook up the heat duct as you see on the top of the stove to the furnance duct just to the right of the stove. And the Temp Probes.
Also, want to try and tie the blowers into the coal air return of the furnance.

The 2 Switch boxes shown are a re-wire of the dual burners/combustion fans, I can run one or the other or both if needed....

I will fire it up next weekend so we are here to make sure everything is working properly. The Keystoker is running for now... :)

Results to follow....

Hi Dave,
I'm not to sure about the size of that duct. We try not to put anything smaller then 12" with just one duct on a Hyfire. Hopefully it will work.

Also, is the tap for my draft at the bottom of the elbow okay to measure from? (piece of copper tubing) Or should it be closer to the stove? I will try it here for now once I fire it up....
