ISO Quality Bulk Coal in S.Central PA

Can anyone help me with info on where I can purchase for pickup or delivery of quality coal (like UAE Harmony ) closer to home than going to the breakers? I live near Thurmont MD. I have access to bagged Blaschak but the price seems high compared to what I read on this forum. Also , and it may be me, but It seems like it is not burning as well as it used to. Anyway I am looking to try something else. Does anyone know of a coal supplier that sells Harmony coal close to the Mason-Dixon line? To give you an idea of where I am located, Gettysburg is 16 miles north. Thanks in advance.

Sanderson Coal is in York Springs, PA, 1235 Mud Run Road 717-528-8344
It's a Ma & Pa sideline business but he does have a truck to make deliveries or yard pickup. He has a truck scale and sells at least two brands. Give him a call. Nice people to deal with. I bought from them before I owned a trailer.

Thanks, I will call them. I can haul a ton, but it might be more economical to have 2-3 delivered. I use around 1 1/2 tons a season.

I made the trek this morning to Harmony. I live in York Springs but thought the trip to Mt Carmel was worth it. I picked up just under 3 ton of their beautiful pea coal. After a total nightmare of suffering through 25 ton of garbage coal, I'm very excited about this new pile behind the garage.

I haven't called these folks here in YS but I will. The fill-up after the trip was painful.

Interesting... The trip to Harmony felt somewhat of a religious experience. A hajj of sorts.

I saw another post about where to eat. Exit 85 on I-81 south there's a restaurant called Funk's. Good breakfast and was able to eat next to three of America's finest presumably from fort Indian Town Gap.
