A big "Thank you" to Dave (Vig II) for the use of his great trailer and to JC for his knowledge and expertise today, another successful coal run has been completed. I came home with a ton of nut for the Harman and 3.6 ton of buck/rice mix for the EFM.

We stopped for lunch at Vito's Coal Fired Pizza in St. Clair.

My truck (and me) are tired but I'm set for winter.

Yep, I can thank those two, also. :notworthy: A huge help.

I miss Vitos. Great pizza.

John, is that the most your truck has ever hauled?

...and whos that sour-puss in the blue jacket 8-)

Yes, it is the most it ever hauled. It was slow going up hills, that's for sure, but it made it.

It's a good feeling to have friends like JC and Dave, I only hope that someday I will be able to repay everything they have done for me.

does the price up and down as the demand goes up? so I guess the best time is the summertime.

Hey John, nice load there! I bought two loads at Blaschak over the last two months. A load for me is one ton per trip. Blaschak is 25 mins closer and I wanted to try a white ash coal for the first two months of the heating season. The red ash clinkers up in the Harman and takes away space in the firebox. I hope I don't regret this decision once the cold air settles in & besides, Blaschak is $20 per ton more than UAE. But so far, seems to burn nice.

I burned a few tons of Blaschak in my hand-fired days. It always burned excellent and was very easy to shake down. I think you will be pleased with it.
