I Used the 2011 Match
I've lost count this year. I'm on either the 5th or 6th match from the time of the Halloween snowstorm. It has been cold enough for the stove for 3 or 4 days and then it would warm up into the 60's for 3 or 4 days. The nights stayed pretty warm too or I would have just kept it lit the whole time. I think I'm lit for good now.

Is your Harman really that color, or is it the effect of the lighting when you took the photo?

The stove is black, that's the room lighting, I didn't want to be bothered with correcting the color. I also caught the reflection of the tripod and my arm resting on my knee.
Better now?

Hah! I have a pink bedroom with darker pink trim with a pink carpet here, was my daughter's bright idea during her teen years...it's on the list to be painted.rberq wrote:Can't let my wife see it, she will want to paint ours pink or something....

I'll be using the 2011 match for the 6th or 7th or 8th time.....I've lost count.
After a very cold weekend, it was too warm here again the last few days to keep it running even in pilot mode.
Furnace didn't kick on all last night and it was still 69* in the house this morning. We had 77* in here yesterday, mostly because it was cookie baking day and the ovens were going most of the day. But the basement where the stoker is was holding the heat also, I didn't look at the temp but I was re-tooling the one side of the basement and was roasting my chestnuts so to speak. We even had a couple of windowstats and our "dump zone" door open (unheated enclosed porch). So I shut it off about 1 yesterday afternoon.
The forecast looks to be the same until Friday. Maybe I'll start it up again on Saturday.
