Western PA

PostBy: Leopald On: Mon Oct 10, 2011 9:11 am

I usually pick up coal from Kingston supply in Latrobe. They said they haven't received any rice coal this year and are having trouble contracting to get any. Has any purchased bulk (no bags) coal in Western PA yet? I've seen some people say they've had good luck with Zubek's in Somerset. I'm going to try to get a hold of them today, but they are more than an hour away.

I'm sure someone down that way will know of some, don't know why your old supplier wouldn't get any, mine seems to have no problems but way too far for you. You might want to say South Western Pa., might grab the attention of those closer to you.

SH,

They told me that their order was placed in July, but they hadn't received it yet and didn't know when / if they could expect it. This has been my regular supplier for the last 3 years. I never had a problem before so I didn't have a backup and this caught me way off guard.

I'd like to purchase 5 to 8 tons. If someone wanted to deliver it from Eastern Pa I'd gladly contract with them.
