Hard to tell from the angle. It might have wanted to cross the path, but then realized the bike was moving quicker than it thought ... so it tried to jump? Not sure there .... :gee:

I think you may be right Smitty. I've seen deer, antelope, elk and even horses do that...once they think they can "beat" you, they won't stop. I don't know anything about that particular animal though.
