One ton nut, Two ton stove...My wife does not get it but I cant wait till its cold enough to fire up the Glenwood. God bless and stay warm....

Nice. I wish I had someplace indoors to store my Kimmel's coal.

Because I don't have access to the basement from inside the house so, it'd prove a pita to bring coal in to feed the stove.markviii wrote:Good work.

Jason,
I know just what you mean Brother! Right after I had 5 tons of nut delivered I just got a satisfied feeling knowing my heat supply was solid and right in the barn. Actually this morning I sparked the Glenwood up in the kitchen since its chilly the next few days. That stove is so easy to get going. Within an hour or so it was full and just cruising along at 350 on the oven gauge. Won't touch it till tonight. Good move buying nut and stove. You'll find a time for both. My Glenwood likes stove too actually but had to choose and the herald is a nut vaporizing machine.

thanks all,
I can not wait to fill my first hod.. Ya Steve I guess its a mainah thing the good feeling of being self sufficient. I know it's weird but sometime in the winter I wish for power outage's so I can light the oil lamps and sit around the stove. My wife say's I was born a 100 years to late....
