What size coal? What kind of site to dump in? Do you have the cash ready? 24 tons +/-. For over 42 years I have used the PA truckers without a single complaint. Matt, of Earth and Fire just left you a number....and he has good coal, also.
You are further than my 500 miles each leg, so understand that it won't be cheap. 1000 miles at 5 mpg...200 gallons of fuel alone, plus truck/trailer wear and tear, and someone to legally pilot the big rig. Over 16 man hrs.....and STILL coal is less than 1/2 the price of oil!!!!!!
Are you in the ST J area or above? Remember, bagged can be purchased by the ton also, and you can get rice, buck, pea, and nut all in the same load. Sure more money, but the hard part has already been done. No measuring, no scales necessary, easy handling........AND a boxed trailer OR flatbed can do the deal. A TT unit with a trailer dump will have a harder time with a back haul. My $.02
