These were taken in NW.Pa.
There is no way it is a bear. As you can see, there were bear cubs in there 28 minutes prior and they are much smaller and if it is the mother bear, she is would be way bigger. Personally, I think it looks like a chimp, but then again I am not a "Chimpologist" :P You be the judge...

BTW, the black thing in the bottom of the frame is the bowl the mineral lick was sitting in that the bears must have knocked over.

Too easily faked either through portrayal or photo manipulation. If it was the latter you will hear about it shortly, fakes can easily be identified.

Just to add without motion it's too hard to say it s real even if it was.

Geesh, I think they confirmed it was bear with a severe case of mange..its only about 20 miles from here and been all over the news, papers, it's getting crazy.....but entertaining.

Some other weird things, there has been quite a few dead deer on the highway in the morning this past week, well, this past monday morning, all the heads were cut off and the bodies were there, no kidding. ? :o We called the DEC, and they contacted the DOT, etc...the deer were gone tonight....hmmm

I see bears at my house on a daily basis, ( seen a mother and 2 cubs on my way to work today) and that is NOT a bear.

Bear with disease sounds plausible, especially if it was malnourished because that appears to be quite skinny.
