Well, I got my new to me AHS 130 in the basement tonight with the help of 2 of my beefy friends. Man that bad boy has some heft to it. My plumber buddy will be by one day this week to look her over and get ready for the install. Unlike so many of the folks on here I am not mechanically inclined and am looking for more then a little help with this install. I can not wait to fire it up. I am looking forward to a long cold winter outside while staying toasty warm inside!! I will keep you posted and maybe post some pictures for everyone to critique! Stay tuned.

Give me a pile of wood and I am more then confident and capable, a boiler wayyyy less so but I am looking forward to learning.

Too bad you aren't my neighbor, I would love to trade some carpentry work for a boiler install. :D

Start by carefully explaining your current heating system, and how you plan to connect & control the S130. Pictures are worth 40 pages of text.

Hey Rob, How far away can you be?? It might be worth a trade! What do you need done? I may be up for the challenge.

Hey Ken
Nice meeting yesterday and Thank You! :)
Take a head on photo of your Burnham so every one can see.
Draw a little plan showing your placement of the S 130. This is going to be a sweet set up!
The new S 130 is impressive makes mine look like it is on wooden spoke wheels not the Mags your AHS is on! 8-)
Beautiful home and area, very nice. :D

I can learn ya all you need to know in one sentence.....

Set the asher to 130, keep the hopper as close to full as you can and empty the ashes as needed.

That's about it.....anything more & you're playing with it. :)

Thanks for the tips Freddy, I will do my best to not play with it. Charles it was very good meeting you and the boys, man those guys worked like machines, reminded me of the good old days. That's probably why I feel like I do THESE days!! I will take pics, any advice is welcome. It is getting colder so the push will be on to get that bad boy fired up and running. I think I have the wife convinced that my going to the meet and greet on our anniversary is a good thing. I look forward to seeing you again there. Coal talk over a cold beer, how could life get better? Take care.
